Avoriaz is a renowned ski resort in the French Alps. It boasts unique architecture and an exceptional location in the heart of the mountains.

Situated at an altitude of 1800m, the resort enjoys ideal snow conditions for much of the winter season. The resort opens onto the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, which spans the Franco-Swiss border and offers over 600km of pistes: one of the largest ski areas in the world.

Our hotel at the foot of the slopes makes it easy for you to enjoy a variety of activities and try out all the different winter sports. In addition to downhill skiing and snowboarding, Avoriaz offers almost forty kilometres of runs entirely dedicated to Nordic skiing, across open plateaux and superb coniferous forests.

When the snow melts, Avoriaz becomes a summer paradise for hikers, mountain bikers and lovers of the Savoyard mountains.

Hiking trails, lakes and downhill runs abound in the region, offering a variety of levels of difficulty. Our mountains abound in breathtaking scenery, with alpine lakes, flower-filled fields and abundant wildlife. Nature lovers will be delighted.

The region is renowned for its cheeses and wines. Make the most of your stay by sampling local cheeses such as Reblochon, Abondance and Tomme de Savoie, accompanied by a good glass of local wine. Many cheese dairies and wine cellars offer tours and tastings.
